Program: How to Keep Your Balance When the Floor Is Rocking, with speaker
Liz Fletcher Brown
Currently your members are dealing with unprecedented challenges:
- Keeping up with technology.
- Meeting attendance is down, pressure is up.
- Higher expectations on a shoestring budget.
- Increased need to demonstrate value (ROI) to management and clients.
- Shorter lead times.
- Cash flow problems leading to suppliers going out of business.
- Unpredictability (i.e. attendees registering at the very last minute).
- Reduced staff, therefore having to do more themselves.
- Stuck in a creative rut.
Yet 2010 has been called the year for taking risk. It's a time to be bold and innovative. Planners and suppliers alike need to find creative ways to do more with less. Ingenuity will be an essential ingredient to thrive in this industry. But it's hard to be creative when you're stressed out and running on adrenaline. It's much easier to fall back on what you've always done. To simply pull out the old checklist. But that's not going to cut it…
How to Keep Your Balance When the Floor Is Rocking!, offers the following solutions:
1. Helps attendees understand the ways in which they have a lot more control than they think. They will leave with new ways of looking at their work, as well as with specific things they can do to reduce stress and increase creativity in their personal and professional lives.
2. To be bold and take risk you have to believe in yourself and get bigger about who you are. Liz helps attendees look at how they may be giving their power away and sabotaging themselves, and gives them tools and techniques they can immediately apply to their lives to be more daring, move beyond limited thinking, and reach for the extraordinary.
3. When you live life connected to what matters most, you will do amazing things. Yet often we find ourselves dancing as fast as we can just to get through the day. By helping participants tap into the core of their sense of purpose, values, and natural talents and gifts, they will tap into a deep well of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and joy.
